God's 6th sense is definetly something Christians ignore. My daughter just put a block on my lap and quietly walked away. She was trying to communicate, 'Mommy play with me', sweetly and passively. I ignored her, sure to get a block thrown at me if I don't respond to her, or leave her heart crushed 1 more time without a response from me. Not that I have to stop each time, but simply to recognize her need, want, or desire to spend time with me. It's a short breath we get as parents isn't it? I'm learning on both ends with a 2 year old and 12 year old. I need to sit with Caleb today and ask some hard questions and respond simply with I love you and prayer of love and wisdom, not advice or correction. He gets the latter to so much without the other, the rest is lost. Thank you for your post. God's 6th sense of His Holy Spirit is evident all around us. I am in tears thinking about how much God has blessed your family. You are a great husband and father to your kids, they love you so much and it's obvious when we're there. Linda is a source of strength and healing to so many people in her job but also in with the family. Ya'll are great parents and it's a blessing to read the blogs and see what's new! I'm super excited about New Spring in Columbia. I've shown so many of the services to friends and am telling many about www.newspring.cc Awesome!
